Help Us Make a Difference in Lives! We are expanding! Due to increasing demand for support in Home & Community Care services, our team in the Tamworth area is looking for permanent part-time employees ready to take on a mix of day and overnight shifts.
We are specifically seeking qualified Home Care Employees with a Certificate III in Individual Support. We highly value a candidate that is qualified in medication competency. We offer the opportunity to build a career, gain valuable on the job experience within the sector, whilst providing quality care to the elderly in your community.
The role of a Home Care Employee is varied and offers flexible work hours. Whether you're experienced or just starting out, there are plenty of opportunities to gain valuable on-the-job experience while you pursue your passion for quality care.
To be successful in this role, you will need the following: Essential Skills: Effective communication skillsAn empathic and caring approachAbility to work unsupervised and as part of a teamAccess to a fully maintained and insured vehicleStrong planning and organizational skillsCompetency with smartphones/tablets or willingness to learnPhysical fitness for manual handling and extended periods of standing/sittingQualifications: Qualified Home Care Employee: Certificate III in Individual Support (essential)Current First Aid Certificate and CPR or willingness to obtainCurrent unrestricted Australian Driver's LicenseWhat's in it for You?
