Join Uniting AgeWell in our Home Care Domestic Support position, where you will play a key role in assisting clients to maintain their independence and quality of life.
This part-time role requires a minimum commitment of 20 hours per fortnight, with shifts available Monday to Friday during daytime hours, and does not require formal qualifications.

Key Responsibilities As a Home Care Domestic Support, you will travel between clients' homes to provide support and care tailored to their individual needs. Your key responsibilities will include:
Assisting with domestic tasks such as: Household chores such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and general tidying Laundry tasks, including washing, drying, ironing, and folding clothes Cleaning kitchens and bathrooms to maintain hygiene standards Meal preparation, including light cooking and assisting with food storage Observing clients' physical, emotional, and behavioural status, and reporting any concerns to the appropriate team member.
Supporting clients with activities that contribute to a clean, tidy, and safe living environment.
Ensuring clients' clothing and personal belongings are kept safe, clean, and well-maintained.
Providing social support and transportation services, such as accompanying clients to appointments or social activities.
Respecting clients' rights, cultural, spiritual, and individual needs in all aspects of care and daily living.
Delivering exceptional customer service by building friendly, supportive, and professional relationships with clients, their families, and friends.
About You You are passionate about making a positive difference in elderly people's lives by providing essential domestic support that empowers them to maintain their independence at home.
Successful candidates must have: Commitment to Person-Centred Care: A genuine interest in supporting elderly clients and a dedication to maintaining high standards of care and support for clients and their families. Driver's License and Car: A valid Australian license and a roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance. First Aid & CPR: Current certifications or a willingness to obtain.
