About the role MacKillop's Out of Home Care (OOHC) Division provides residential care, home based care, lead tenant, and case management support for young people with high and complex needs, and a therapeutically oriented program for young people in protective placements.
This is a Permanent Full-time (38 hours per week) opportunity based in Footscray within our Children Youth & Family Services Program.
The position reports to the Home Based Care Coordinator. Key Selection Criteria: To be successful in this role, you will have:
Appropriate tertiary qualifications.Professional casework skills, including knowledge of LAC and CIRSSP/CRIS.Sound professional knowledge and theory base.Ability to participate collaboratively and constructively within teams of peers, staff, and other stakeholders, as well as initiative and effective personal judgement when working alone.Please address the full Key Selection Criteria outlined in the PD as part of your application. You must have a: Valid and current Driver's Licence;Satisfactory Criminal History Check (paid for by MacKillop);Valid Employee Working with Children Check;Valid and current NDIS Workers Screening Check (for risk assessed / client facing roles).
