Your Team Hollard's Group Compliance Function (Group Compliance) forms part of the designated Line 2 Risk for the Hollard Insurance Companies and plays a key role in supporting the effective management of compliance risk, within Hollard's broader Risk Management Framework.
As a part of the Group Compliance team, you will have the chance to work alongside highly experienced risk and compliance specialists in an interesting and fulfilling role, brimming with opportunities. Group Compliance currently has 3 teams: Compliance Incident Team (CIT), Compliance Oversight Team (COT), Compliance Monitoring & Insights Team (MIT) .
Reporting to a Lead Compliance Principal or Senior Compliance Principal within Group Compliance, you may work in one, or a combination of the functions listed above. Compliance professionals are transferable and flexible, as a requirement of the role.
This role also provides opportunities to support the Head of Group Compliance and broader Group Compliance team to achieve the team's objectives, including:
Assisting with deep-dive thematic reviews and/or analysis to identify gaps in compliance or regulatory compliance issues. Supporting and providing compliance advice on regulatory change projects (e.g., Privacy Act Review). Providing compliance advice on the effectiveness of compliance risk management at Hollard. Supporting the business to manage compliance incidents. Supporting regulatory lodgements or responding to Regulator requests from ASIC, APRA, the OAIC and other organisations. Your knowledge & experience Demonstrated experience in a Line 2 Compliance role or similar function. Demonstrated experience in legal, or insurance and/or financial services compliance experience (General insurance strongly preferred). Strong and proven compliance skills required. Working knowledge of the regulatory compliance landscape (APRA prudential standards, Corporations Act & Regulations, ASIC Act and Regulatory Guides, Insurance Contracts Act, and the GI Code of Practice). Technical Compliance Risk capability and knowledge of risk frameworks is preferred. Working at Hollard At Hollard you will be part of a supportive, valued and committed team.
