We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Graduate Lawyer to join our dynamic team and embark on an engaging and rewarding legal career.
Responsibilities:
Assist senior lawyers with managing a variety of legal matters, with an initial focus on commercial law and litigation.
Conduct legal research and draft documents such as contracts, agreements, and court submissions.
Attend client meetings and assist with advising clients on their legal rights and obligations.
Participate in court proceedings, mediations, and client negotiations, gaining hands-on experience under supervision.
Collaborate with team members across different practice areas to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
Support business development initiatives, including networking events and community engagement.
Qualifications:
Recently completed or near completion of a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent qualification.
Eligibility to obtain a practicing certificate in Victoria upon admission.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a supportive team environment.
An interest in or knowledge of Commercial Law and Litigation is highly desirable.
