Electrorig (a division of McNab) is an established Yatala based contractor, that has successfully installed and maintained hundreds of project-based hoists nationally. Duties: Manage and coordinate a small team of riggers to ensure effective and safe rigging operations on different sites between Coolangatta and the Sunshine Coast. Plan and lead rigging activities, including the prep, installation, maintenance, and dismantling of hoists (predominantly CMAX's) as well as the installation and removal of crane decks. Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and standards. Provide guidance and training to rigging staff, ensuring they are well versed in best practices and safety procedures. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during installation, maintenance, repair, or dismantle. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations while quickly resolving any issues that arise. What we are looking for: Proven experience as a Rigger Supervisor with a strong focus on people and materials hoists. Intermediate knowledge of rigging techniques, safety regulations, and industry standards. Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and upskill a team effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
