Duties and Responsibilities The HNWI Giving Programme Consultant(s) will work closely with the Regional Head of External Relations, Head of Partnerships and Communication (UN Women India), and Public and Private Sector Partnerships Specialist (UN Women China) to map and tailor approaches to high net worth individuals (HNWI) with an affinity for advancing gender equality and women's empowerment.
Research charitable individual donors who are HNWI based in China and India, and select diaspora communities.
The research should culminate in an outcomes report to include:
Overview and prioritization of a minimum of twenty HNWIs aligned with UN Women's areas of programming and policy work.
Evidence-based approach and entry points to engage with those prospective donors.
Approved donation pathways aligned with UN Women's legal and financial rules and regulations.
Additionally, develop a minimum of three pitch packages/cases for support for the respective UN Women offices in China and India.
Consultant's Workplace and Official Travel
This is a home-based consultancy without any requirement to travel.
Required Skills and Experience Education and Certification:
Master's degree or equivalent in economics, business management, social sciences, public administration, international relations, communications, or a related field is required.
A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
Experience:
5 years of relevant experience with proven experience of conducting research on charitable donors who are HNWIs and developing an evidence-based approach to engaging with and securing gifts from HNWIs.
Experience developing HNWI pitch materials within an international organization is desirable.
Experience in work related to gender equality and women's empowerment is essential.
Experience working in or with India and China is an advantage.
