THE ROLE An exciting new opportunity exists for a highly experienced Maintenance Manager to join the Hallett Group.
The role will involve maintaining our HME fleet across the Hallett Group which includes Loaders, Dump Trucks, Articulated Trucks, Skid Steers, Mobile Screens, Mobile Crushers and Generators.
To be successful in this role you will have an uncompromising commitment to safety, experience in successfully delivering Service Department KPIs and working with OEMs and Contractors to produce cost-effective outcomes for maintenance requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Build and maintain a productive working relationship with team members and stakeholders.Execution of all Service strategies and policies.Maintaining high levels of Customer Satisfaction with every interaction between the Customer and our Service department.Work with OEM's and Contractors to produce safe and cost-effective outcomes for maintenance requirements.Identifying opportunities and implementing training programs for onsite operators.Achievement of all Service Department KPIs.Managing and mentoring all direct reports.Continually review and maintain our OHS policies.Driving efficiencies in all aspects of the Service Department operations.Develop and maintain HME capital replacement and major component rebuild programs.Review and maintain HME tyre replacement and maintenance strategies.Inspect and maintain overhaul program for major wear components - loader buckets, excavator buckets, undercarriage and GET.Management of hire/leased equipment as required.Review and advise on fleet optimisation.Ability to prioritise and manage your time efficiently.Work in collaboration with other service lines to ensure safety and best practice.Respond to emergency situations appropriately according to reporting procedures.QUALIFICATIONS | EXPERIENCE | CAPABILITIES 2 years of experience as a maintenance supervisor or manager in similar fields (essential).Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance on Volvo, Caterpillar, and Hitachi machinery.Experience with using Caterpillar/Volvo telemetry systems - preferred but not essential.Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.Effective budgeting and performance management.Possess strong organisational and leadership skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related communication tools.Experience in a software MEX and similar program - desirable but not essential.APPLY NOW To be considered for this position click "APPLY" now.
