This role will suit you if you have excellent stakeholder management skills, project and contract management experience working on multi-faceted projects and are comfortable operating across a variety of disciplines.You will lead multiple large and complex assignments and be responsible for implementing and managing the delivery of rail infrastructure projects through various life cycle phases, ensuring practices and procedures are carried out efficiently.You will also play an active role in mentoring and developing junior team members, fostering their growth and enhancing the overall capabilities of the project management team.We provide a commitment to the continual development of your professional and behavioral competencies through internal, external and on-the-job training, and exposure to different elements of HKA Global to help you further your career.We at HKA offer a hybrid working environment. Flexible working days are on offer, depending on the needs of the client, and HKA.Typically, these assignments would center on leading, or providing advice on, the following:Front end development of major rail infrastructure portfolios, programs and projects.Management of projects through the planning phase, utilising Queensland Treasury's Project Assessment Framework or TMR's On Q Framework.Management of projects through the Preconstruction phase, using technical experience and knowledge of client processes and specifications to develop optimised project solutions.Project and Contract Management of projects through the Construction phase.Development and transformation of the project, program or portfolio management capability and capacity of clients.Skills and ExperienceYou will have proven experience with project/technical management of large-scale rail transport infrastructure projects. This will be coupled with excellent communication skills and a confident ability to work and liaise with our clients and significant stakeholders.Essential Requirements:Proven experience in project planning, development or delivery of rail infrastructure projects.Qualification in Engineering, Project Management or similar, relevant to transport infrastructure delivery.Client side experience.Ability to prioritise and manage own time in an environment with several competing requirements.The ability to take initiative and willingness to grow and develop internally.Experience with WHS, environmental and quality management systems.Desirable Requirements:Excellent analytical and reporting skills, including proposal writing.Current registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ), if eligible.Additional project management experience in road, water and energy infrastructure projects is valued.As a leading advisory business, additional consulting experience within strategic advisory, commercial advisory, or project controls is also valued.What we offer:At HKA we recognise that our people are critical to our ongoing success.
