In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to contribute your expertise to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services within the Hospital in the Home (HITH) program.
Leveraging your clinical acumen and compassionate approach, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless transition of patients from the hospital setting to their homes, facilitating their recovery journey with personalized care plans.

As a HITH Medical Consultant, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, providing clinical leadership and guidance to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
Your responsibilities will encompass conducting comprehensive assessments, developing tailored treatment plans, and monitoring patient progress throughout their recovery journey.

Essential Requirements:
Current National Police Clearance (NPC) Working With Children Check (DHS) Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description.
SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
Educational/Vocational Qualifications
Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration; or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award.
