Tara Anglican School for Girls is seeking an energetic, passionate, and innovative History Teacher to join our Senior School team.
This full-time position involves teaching Stages 4 and 5 History, as well as Stage 6 Modern and/or Ancient History. The ability to teach Studies of Religion or English is advantageous, and experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) would be highly regarded, although it is not essential.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective History lessons across Stages 4, 5, and 6. Develop and implement differentiated teaching and learning programs tailored to meet individual student needs. Integrate ICT into classroom practices, utilising a 1 to 1 laptop program and platforms like Canvas. Work collaboratively with colleagues to create innovative and dynamic learning experiences. Participate actively in the School's cocurricular activities, including camps, student events, and parent meetings. Mentor students as part of the school's wellbeing program. Qualifications & Experience: Tertiary qualifications in Secondary History education. NESA accreditation to teach in NSW. Successful experience teaching Stages 4, 5, and 6 History. Experience with the IB Middle Years or Diploma Programme is advantageous but not essential. Strong understanding of NESA syllabi and assessment procedures, with a proven track record of student success. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a collaborative team environment. Willingness to support the Christian ethos of the School and participate in school life. Why Join Us?
