One of the largest and exciting projects in retail transformation, we are looking for someone who has extensive SAP project implementation experience.
As a seasoned Senior Project Manager (Venues), you will manage the delivery of successful project outcomes through the delivery of multiple streams of project activities and other value-adding activities to ensure that full business benefits realization is obtained.
As a generalist, the role will work closely with the business and technology teams.
You will have knowledge of building portals for online systems to provide support to all our venues' bar staff.
The role is required to manage the stages of the project lifecycle, including Concept, Plan, Delivery, and Embedding the project outcomes.
Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role: Obtaining the validation of the Business Case based on a Best, Worst, Most Likely scenario construct, as well as the continual validation of the Business Case with the Project Sponsor.
Operating within the requirements specified by the organisation's operating mode, including the Delivery Framework and the Governance Framework.
End-to-end coordinated management of all project streams and stage gates in accordance with the requirements of the organisation.
Agreeing & managing to the Sponsor & Steering Committees realistic expectations on project Scope, Time, Cost & Quality, and delivering against these key measures.
Providing the Sponsor & Steering Committees with ongoing confidence on project delivery certainty & peoples' capacity/ability to apply the new capability.
Ensuring all project component delivery/operational/regulatory/reputation risk impacts are maintained within acceptable and agreed parameters.
Ensuring Architectural alignment with the organisation's Business & Technology requirements.
Securing project resources with the necessary experience aligned to the complexity of the task or if the appropriate resources are not available instituting a resource risk minimisation plan.
Ensuring supplier vendors are fully aligned with project goals, the organisation's Project Management requirements & Values.
Assisting with the creation of the organisation's future capability by gathering and documenting Lessons Learned.
Qualifications Now let's talk about you: Proven experience (5+ years) as a Project Manager or similar role.
Proven knowledge building portals using SAP Retail.
Relevant undergraduate qualifications.
Relevant project management qualifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional).
Retail and/or FMCG experience.
Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, Agile) is desirable.
Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with others.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Proficient in the use of applications including but not limited to presentation, spreadsheet, and word processing applications.
