Hire Fleet Officer

About the company:  A leading supplier to all areas of the Construction industry; they are the primary supplier of hi-tech solutions to address challenges within the construction process.
Primary Purpose:    The primary purpose of the position of Hire Fleet Officer is to: Fleet Inventory management.
Product compliance with the quality system.
Preparation and management of hire contracts.
Logistic coordination.
Customer communication and liaison.
Key Accountabilities: Quality Assurance machine and OFF machine products – 50% of Role Perform quality assessments on products in fleet to comply with specifications and customer requirements before contract allocation and item returned.
Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards.
Maintain detailed records of the testing carried out, and relevant additional customer information, photos, and documentation.
Assist with administrative duties such as invoicing, and other record-keeping task Inventory and contract management – 25% of Role Prepare rental agreements and contracts adhering to company policies.
Maintain accurate inventory records of available rental equipment.
Monitor inventory levels and suggest replenishment orders as needed Interaction with Cross-functional team – 10% of Role Install or Deinstall of Hire order with installation or training.
Coordinate support, tooling equipment with technicians.
Incomplete or incorrect sales order.
Availability.
Communicate effectively with logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries, pickups and address any issues or delays promptly Coordinate equipment inspections, maintenance, and repairs as required Collaborate with team members to support overall business operations.
Liaising with customer – 10% of Role Coordinate with customers to schedule equipment pickups and returns.
Administration of extended warranty sales for products.
Strive to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by exceeding service expectations throughout the rental process.
Demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.
Policy compliance – 5% of Role Comply with all relevant Company policies and procedures The ideal candidate: Diploma, or equivalent qualification in electronics OR 2-year experience in a similar role.
Must be able to prioritise.
Have good time management skills.
Must be proactive.
Have analytical skills.
Good communication skills for customer service.
