The clinic offers a modern, fully equipped facility, providing an ideal setting for GPs looking to practice in a collaborative and supportive environment. This role offers the unique opportunity to additionally work closely with the local hospital on an on-call basis, with just 1-2 days per week and one weekend per month, which will give you even more earning opportunities. You'll be part of a team that benefits from full support, including skilled nursing and administrative staff, as well as access to visiting specialists and allied health professionals. With a strong focus on work-life balance, this position allows you to enjoy a fulfilling career while living in the tranquil, beautiful surroundings of regional NSW.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
Required Qualifications : MBBS (or equivalent), with Specialist General Practitioner registration with the Medical Board of Australia (Highly Regarded).
Relevant Experience : At least one year of post-graduate clinical practice. Experience in areas such as Emergency Medicine, General Practice, Paediatrics, or Rural Medicine will be highly regarded.
Clinical Expertise & Skills : In-depth knowledge of modern approaches to managing a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions. Proficient in performing common minor urgent procedures in rural emergency settings, including Advanced Life Support and Trauma management.
Teamwork & Leadership : Strong ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and take on leadership responsibilities when required.
Professional Development Commitment : A passion for teaching, ongoing education, and contributing to research and continuous quality improvement.
On-Call Availability : Willingness to participate in an on-call roster and respond promptly when required.
