We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Sales Manager to join our Academic Higher Education team.
The Field Sales Manager will be responsible for managing a small but highly experienced team of sales representatives while also taking on direct responsibilities for a sales territory to sell our suite of higher education teaching and learning resources, including textbooks, online learning materials and courseware published here in Australia and overseas.

About the role This important role will drive revenue growth in higher education and build strong relationships with faculty leadership and teaching staff throughout ANZ, identifying new business opportunities within the university and VET markets, and assisting the Sales Director in setting overall Higher Ed sales strategy.
As HE Field Sales Manager, you will:
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets Provide input into annual sales and travel budgets for HE Manage a team of sales representatives and provide coaching and support to help them achieve their targets Collaborate with marketing and editorial teams to develop targeted sales campaigns Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management Contribute and collaborate with other Higher Education Sales Managers globally to develop new HE sales models Attend HE conferences and events in ANZ to promote our products and services and keep abreast of industry trends. About you We are looking for an experienced sales professional with previous experience of selling teaching and learning resources with an academic publisher.
To excel in this role, you will bring:
Deep knowledge of the tertiary education market in ANZ Proven track record of success in field sales management and direct selling with an academic publisher Degree educated, bachelor or higher Strong leadership and management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to develop and execute sales strategies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to travel as needed Rewards and benefits We will support you to be at your best in work and to live well outside of it.
