This role is Darwin based and some national travel on a project-by-project basis. Applicants either need to live locally or be willing to relocate to Darwin NT.

Job DescriptionCommissioning, testing, and maintaining:HV Substations secondary systems and primary plantHV/LV Plant/AssetsPower Generation SystemsPower Transformers.Provide leadership, supervision, technical support and training to technicians.Preparation of commissioning/testing documentation, protection test plans and create detailed technical reports on completion of works.Desired Skills and ExperienceExperience, skills and qualifications: Must hold Northern Territory Electrical License or Electrical Engineering Bachelor's Degree.Advanced Diploma in Power Systems (highly regarded).HV Switching Ticket preferred.Experience with IEC61850 and GOOSE messaging through IED Scout viewed favourably.Knowledge and understanding of appropriate Australian and International Standards, as well as relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.Proven ability meeting project quality, schedule, and budget requirements.Ability to promote a high standard of safety, professionalism, and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.Proven experience using the Omicron suite of equipment for secondary system testing.Power Station experience (highly regarded).Apply Now: If you believe you meet the above criteria and would like to be considered for the role, please upload an updated resume and cover letter.
