Your responsibilities include:Install, inspect, and maintain high voltage electrical equipment and systems.Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in high voltage systems and components.Perform regular preventive maintenance to prevent system failures.Collaborate with engineering teams to implement high voltage system upgrades and modifications.Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards for high voltage work.Document all work performed, including Inspection Test Plans and Reports.Mentoring junior electricians and apprentices.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORWe're seeking someone with the expertise, passion, and drive to make an impact:Your Experience:Proven skills in high voltage cable jointing, laying, terminating, and repairing underground power cables.Familiarity with Raychem, Nexans, and Sicame products.Strong understanding of high voltage safety procedures and regulations.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Physical fitness and adaptability to various environmental conditions.Willingness to travel and work on-site as needed.Your Credentials:Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech.Current Electrical License.Cert III in Distribution Cable Jointing.Current CPR/LVR certification (within the last 9 months).Unrestricted C Class Driver's License.White/Blue Construction Card.WHAT WE OFFERAt PHE, your hard work is recognised and rewarded.
