Permanent Full Time Role Kesser Torah College (KTC) is an Orthodox co-educational Jewish Day School offering a diverse and rigorous academic programme.  The school is located in Dover Heights in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. Kesser Torah College is a flexible, supportive workplace for all employees.

The Position
We invite applications from passionate, motivated, and experienced teachers for a position within our HSIE department.
Successful candidates will be enthusiastic educators, collaborative team players, and eager to contribute to the development of the school's HSIE curriculum. You will bring a deep knowledge, understanding, and passion for teaching, along with proven success in teaching students across Years 7 to 12.
The ideal candidate will inspire students by differentiating the curriculum and employing teaching strategies that foster independent, confident learning.
All teachers at KTC are employed under the Independent Schools NSW Teachers (Hybrid Model) Multi-Enterprise Agreement (MEA). The MEA outlines teacher's salaries and their employment rights and responsibilities and the salary will be based on NESA accreditation and years of experience.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging lessons for high school students.Support students in achieving their academic and social goals.Provide targeted support for individual students and small groups.Address the socio-emotional needs of students.Prepare resources and materials for teaching.Motivate students to achieve and develop a lifelong love of learning. Requirements: Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Education (secondary teaching qualification)Relevant teaching experienceNESA accreditation and NSW WWCC (employee)Strong curriculum knowledge and instructional skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficient in ITExperience differentiating lessons to maximise student potentialCommitment to working in alignment with the college ethos To be considered, applications must submit: A cover letter addressing the vacancy being applied forA Current ResumeEvidence of NESA accreditation and NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC)Copies/scans of academic qualifications and transcriptsCopies/scans of identification showing date of birthContact details for at least two professional referees.
