High School History / HSIE Teacher Permanent Position (0.8-1.0 FTE) We are a K-12 independent, secular, co-educational school with a stunning 17-acre bushland campus in the Blue Mountains. The successful candidate will be passionate about providing inquiry-based learning and be an engaging and effective classroom practitioner whose knowledge, skills and passion for Stage 6 Modern & Ancient History and Stage 4-5 HSIE will inspire students to engage deeply in this important subject.

Qualifications Qualified to teach Stage 6 Ancient & Modern History, (ability to teach another KLA, particularly English, would be an advantage).Relevant education qualifications including a current NESA accreditation.Experience teaching HSIE and/or English in Stages 4 and 5.Extensive pedagogical knowledgeCommitted to the continual improvement of their teaching practice Able to motivate students to achieve and to develop a life-long love of learning
