BFT Ocean Grove has been operational for 4 years and in this time has quickly become one of the best-performing BFT studios globally. Known for its great community, great vibes and inclusive environment, BFT OG is now on the hunt for a Head Coach/High-Performance Coach to take the studio to the next level.
You will be responsible for the on-floor member experience by managing the coaching group and reviewing the programming schedule. You will have access to member HR data to help refine and target coaching as well as the opportunity to provide advanced technical training to coaches and members.
As part of the BFT coaching network, you will have access to professional development in Kettlebells, Barbells, Boxing and the Art of Coaching.
As an integral part of the BFT Ocean Grove team, you will receive an annual PD allowance, full Puma uniform (including shoes), a 40% discount to Puma Online, a complimentary BFT3 heart rate monitor and a complimentary BFT global access membership.
You will have the opportunity to become a BFT Master Trainer upon completion of the required training courses.
ABOUT YOU:
Experienced coach, preferably with some group coaching experience Exercise Physiology degree is desirable Energetic and enthusiastic coach who can create a great member experience and is passionate about the brand Sound technical knowledge and ability to communicate well with coaches and members Availability to coach mornings and evenings, and some weekends. ABOUT THE ROLE:
Full-time position (38 hours p/week) with the opportunity to set some consistent hours.
Inclusive of some AM shifts (5 am - 1:15 pm) and some evening shifts (11:45 am - 8 pm).
When required to work a Saturday, this will be 5:45 am - 12 pm with an agreed day off in the week.
You will be required to coach sessions with approximately 36 participants across a variety of strength and cardiovascular training styles.
You will be responsible for member retention and the onboarding of new members.
You will be responsible for organising coach PD sessions and for overseeing the performance of the coaching group.
Pay will be very competitive and negotiable based on the level of experience.
There will be the opportunity for incentives based on set KPIs.
