Hgv Apprentice Trainer

Monday - Friday working 9am - 5pm only I am working with a client, based in the Midlands who is seeking dedicated and experienced HGV Technicians who are looking to put the tools down and become a HGV Apprentice Trainer.
As a HGV Apprentice Trainer The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and support to apprentices working towards qualifications in HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) maintenance and repair.
This role focuses on equipping apprentices with the necessary skills and knowledge to become proficient HGV technicians, including Master Technicians, EV (Electric Vehicle) Technicians, and LCV (Light Commercial Vehicle) Technicians.
Key Responsibilities: Training Delivery: Conduct classroom-based training sessions, providing theoretical and practical knowledge in HGV maintenance and repair.Apprentice Support: Offer guidance and mentorship to apprentices, helping them to understand complex concepts and complete their coursework successfully.Curriculum Development: Develop and update training materials and lesson plans to ensure they meet industry standards and the needs of the apprentices.Assessment:Evaluate apprentice's progress through regular assessments, feedback, and support in achieving their qualifications.Industry Compliance: Ensure all training practices comply with current industry regulations and standards.Ideal Candidate: Experience: Significant experience in HGV maintenance and repair, ideally holding a position as a Master Technician, EV Technician, or LCV Technician.Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in vehicle maintenance and repair.Teaching Skills: Proven experience in training or mentoring, with strong communication and organisational skills.Flexibility:Willingness to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of apprentices.Commitment: Enthusiasm for fostering the development of new technicians and a commitment to continuous professional development.If this is the role for you Click to Apply
