This role will contribute to the ground-breaking work of the Group in the areas of truth, treaty, self-determination, and cultural rights.The Heritage Registry Project Officer supports the administration of the Aboriginal Heritage Act 2006 (the Act) by maintaining the Victorian Aboriginal Heritage Register (VAHR). The Heritage Registry Project Officer contributes to the daily activities of the Heritage Registry Team in promoting best practice management of Aboriginal cultural heritage data.
