Artefact is a leading heritage consultancy firm in NSW, providing archaeological, cultural heritage management and environmental assessment services. We work from regional offices in Bathurst and Newcastle and a head office on a heritage wharf overlooking Sydney Harbour.

Minimum one year full-time experience in the management of cultural heritage, heritage architecture or archaeology Ideally hold a Bachelor's degree or post-grad qualifications in a relevant discipline Have a working knowledge of current heritage legislation and heritage practices Effective time management skills and ability to manage small projects Demonstrated experience in completing assessments and fieldwork Strong written and analytical skills As a Heritage Consultant within the Bathurst team, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Working within a supportive team to complete projects on time and budget to industry's best practice standards Participate in fieldwork-based activities Undertake research, assessment and provision of recommendations for heritage projects Develop content for project reports that comply with legislative guidelines, heritage best practice and Artefact Heritage standards Maintain and grow client relationships through regular communication and assist in the preparation of proposals/tenders.
