Hosking Willis Architecture is seeking an experienced and motivated Heritage Architect to join our team.

The successful applicant will be involved in the preparation of impact assessments and conservation management plans, undertaking and recording heritage surveys, undertaking dilapidation inspections and preparing conservation works documentation, providing heritage advice to clients, consultants and team members, and designing and documenting adaptive reuse projects.
Experience with the provision of heritage advice to external parties and the willingness to provide those services is also highly desirable.
Ideal candidates will have the following attributes: Be either a Registered Architect or experienced Graduate of Architecture.
Have a minimum of 5-7 years' experience, with a focus on conservation and heritage projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to complete heritage projects in a timely manner, within budget, and to a high standard.
Strong understanding and knowledge of the ICOMOS Burra Charter and other relevant heritage related documentation guidelines and resources.
Strong understanding of the South Australian planning system as it relates to heritage.
The ability to independently manage the delivery of projects.
Demonstrated ability to provide heritage advice and guidance to clients and fellow team members and to operate within the relevant legislative and statutory frameworks.
The ability to work collaboratively with the company Directors and other team staff members in a team environment.
An ability to develop positive and ongoing relationships and work independently with clients and consultants and to manage time and deliverables, and.
Ideally be proficient with ArchiCAD/REVIT.
Salary is negotiable based upon experience.
