Responsibility : Meet SGE 2025 election timeline, program requirements and delivery schedules.
Compliance with WAEC Occupational Safety and Health Policy in relation to materials handling equipment, staff induction, and general workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities: Provide customer-focused ICT helpdesk support, responding to technical assistance requests related to WAEC-supported applications, both in person and remotely (via phone/electronically).
Assist with system administration tasks in Windows Active Directory (AD) and Azure AD environments.
Support the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, SEOs, Microsoft 365 Office Suite, and other peripheral devices (e.g., printers, scanners, Wi-Fi access points, MS Teams calling).
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and application issues, collaborating with senior support teams and external suppliers where necessary.
Assist in the setup and implementation of election-related infrastructure, including standalone systems.
Ensure compliance with WAEC's Occupational Safety and Health Policy regarding workplace safety.
Provide user training and contribute to the development of ICT user manuals and self-help documentation.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ICT trends and contribute to service improvement activities.
Key Requirements: 2+ years of experience in an ICT Service Desk or End User Computing Support role.
Experience in configuring, deploying, and supporting Microsoft Windows and Office 365 applications in a corporate setting.
Proficiency in managing users and devices in Windows AD & Azure AD, using tools such as SCCM and Microsoft Intune for deployment.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster client relationships.Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with experience working in fast-paced environments.
Ability to write and update technical and system documentation.
Police Check clearance required.
Essential Criteria : 2+ years' experience in an ICT Service Desk or End User Computing Support role, with minimal supervision.
Proven experience in supporting Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365 Suite, and related peripherals in a corporate setting, and manage users within Windows AD and Azure AD environments.
Proficiency in SCCM, Microsoft Intune, and standalone imaging tools for systems and application deployment.
Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and application issues.
Well-developed communication skills (written and verbal) to deliver training, provide technical support, and document procedures.
Exceptional time management skills to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in high-pressure election environments.
Pay Rate: $50.57 per hour ; Charge Rate: $66.02 per hour *Please note that the locations are different for each role as mentioned below* Corporate Helpdesk Team : Main Office: Level 2, 66 St Georges Terrace, Perth, Western Australia 6000.
Election Helpdesk Team : Processing Centre; 30 Beaufort St, Perth and 66 St Georges Terrace, Perth, and 31 Bishop Street, Jolimont.
