Job DescriptionAn exciting opportunity is now available for a reliable full time Help Desk Supervisor.
This role is responsible for the provision of administrative support services to management and the Helpdesk/Call centre function by Downer on-site at Head Quarters Joint Operations Command (HQJOC) at Bungendore.
ResponsibilitiesHQJOC operates twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
Occasional evening or weekend work may be required.
This role includes:
Working in a challenging high security environment, often under pressureDealing with conflicting prioritiesPlanning, organising and prioritising work to meet strict deadlines and provide timely and accurate information to all stakeholdersProviding quality customer service to internal Downer partiesDeveloping good working relationships with all stakeholdersProviding administrative support to management, including coordinating all Human Resources activities for HQJOC and providing input into the HQJOC monthly reportQualificationsSkills and Experience Ability to hold an appropriate Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship mandatory)Exceptional internal and external customer service skillsAbility to work in a team environmentExperience dealing with the publicKnowledge of necessary procedures and processes for operating a Call Centre / Helpdesk FunctionSolid background and experience in office administrationExperience with the ability to utilise and understand software programs such as Microsoft Access, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, e-mail, internet and intranetThe successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic, achieve the highest level of safety and quality of work, and have a genuine passion for excellent customer service.
