Helpdesk Officer

This pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading.
Our client is a large government department with a well-established Help Desk team, seeking a driven IT professional looking to grow to join their dynamic team.
The role will be based in Brisbane CBD on a provisioned initial contract until Oct 2025, with a view to extend.
Key Responsibilities: Respond to and log first-level technical support requests, ensuring prompt and efficient issue resolution. Provide clear communication to end-users, educating them to minimize recurring issues. Update and maintain the knowledge base with documentation of known errors and fixes. Collaborate with customers and team members, providing timely status updates and feedback. Organise and manage your workload to ensure high-quality, responsive client service. Support the development and implementation of Service Centre projects. Assist in maintaining and improving systems, policies, and procedures. What We're Looking For: Strong communication and problem-solving skills. A proactive approach to learning and improving processes.
