Help Desk - Team Lead

We are looking for a IT Team Leader to join a dynamic business located in Osborne Park.
As the IT Services Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in leading a small team providing ongoing support to users and managing the development and maintenance of servers, ensuring systems run smoothly and securely.
This hands-on role will see you leading a dedicated team, liaising with senior management, and collaborating with the National IT Services team to uphold IT standards.
Your expertise in IT support, stakeholder and vendor management, and team leadership will be utilised to ensure core systems are secure, reliable, and well-maintained.

Position Responsibilities: Lead a small team A hands-on role where you will also respond to and resolve IT assistance requests from computer users in a timely manner.
Install, configure, and maintain network-based applications and systems, including Active Directory Services, DNS, DHCP, MS Exchange Email, Backups, VMWare, and other core network-based applications.
Liaise with vendors and service providers to optimise system performance and availability.
Monitor and report on the performance and availability of systems, ensuring comprehensive and accurate documentation.
Participate in projects as required.
Skills/ Experience: Hands-on experience in IT support and leadership Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder and vendor management Level 2 leadership skills with a focus on desktop support Drivers License is required  Relevant IT certifications or qualifications Prior experience in fault resolution of hardware and network faults Proficiency with Windows Servers, Windows Desktop Operating Systems, and Active Directory Services The successful applicant will be required to undergo a police check.
