Contract engagement Immediate Start Onsite role – Sydney CBD offices About the company: Green Light is one of Australia's most successful and fastest growing IT services businesses.

About the engagement: Green Light have an exciting opportunity for a high calibre, experienced  AV Technician  to work onsite for one of our Australian customers based in Sydney.
This position will be responsible for maintaining and improving IT and AV infrastructure to enable more effective and efficient use of technology.
The role is providing onsite support at the Sydney CBD offices as well as virtual support for the rest of offices across Australia.
Responsibilities: - Support for all IT/AV technology aspects at major events at the Department.
installation or new AV equipment or replacement devices as necessary.
Maintain system security and monitor and analyse IT/AV performance.
Prepare technical documentation outlining installation and commissioning of IT/AV solutions.
Development of appropriate contingency plans should IT/AV equipment fail.
identify and escalate any risks and assist in their resolution.
Use software and hardware skills to maintain and enhance system configuration.
Expected to follow IT asset management practices.
Requirements: - Strong experience working as an Audio Visual (AV) Technician.
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar capacity Must work onsite in the Sydney CBD Demonstrated knowledge of AV infrastructure systems.
Expertise with AV technologies such as, but not limited to, tablet touch screen (Crestron Devices), Network amplifier, Mobile AV Cart, Interactive touch displays, USB Bridge, HD Capture Dongle.
Microphones (ceiling and handheld), Visual displays, Audio conferencing processor, LCD Laser Projector etc Demonstrated understanding of IT/AV technology usage in corporate/commercial settings will be essential.
Sound knowledge of the ITIL framework.
Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical language into easy-to-understand language.
