The Role:
Join QGAir's dynamic rotary wing team in Townsville and make a real difference to the lives of those in need.
We are seeking experienced helicopter pilots to fly single pilot, instrument flight rules (IFR) in multi-engine AW139 helicopters.
You'll be part of a highly coordinated, multi-crew environment conducting emergency medical, search and rescue and counter-disaster operations.
Your role will involve supporting aeromedical, various police and government related missions, ensuring each operation is conducted safely and efficiently.

What we're looking for:
Mandatory Requirements:
Licences & Ratings:
Hold a current Australian Commercial Pilots Licence (CPL - Helicopter).
Completion of Air Transport Pilots Licence Subjects (Helicopter).
Low Level Rating.
Multi Engine Command Instrument Rating - 3 Renewals.
Flight Hours Requirements:
Minimum 2500 hours total time.
Minimum 1500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) Helicopter.
Minimum 200 hours Night PIC Helicopter.
Minimum 500 hours Multi-Engine PIC Helicopter.
Minimum 1200 hours Turbine Helicopter.
Certifications and Documentation:
Hold or be eligible to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
Current Class 1 Aviation Medical.
Highly Desirable: Licences & Ratings:
Hold a current Australian Air Transport Pilots Licence (ATPL).
Night Vision Imaging System (NVIS) Rating.
Flight Hours Requirements:
Minimum 100 hours NVIS Operations.
Type Ratings:
AW139 Type Rating.
Certifications & Documentation:
Hold a current Australian Passport.
Suitably qualified candidates are encouraged to apply now.
