Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our services and establish strategic partnerships within the disability services sector. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the success and sustainability of our organization, while making a positive difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, strategic thinker with a strong understanding of business development, relationship-building, and the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) landscape.
Key Responsibilities: Identify New Business Opportunities: Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients, partners, and stakeholders. Identify areas for growth, both in terms of service offerings and geographical reach. Build Relationships: Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, stakeholders, community organizations, and government agencies to drive business expansion and advocacy. Develop Partnerships: Collaborate with other organizations and service providers to create opportunities for joint ventures, service collaborations, and referral partnerships. Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry changes to ensure our services remain competitive and responsive to client needs. Sales and Revenue Growth: Drive sales and revenue targets by working closely with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet the needs of clients while adhering to business goals. Strategic Planning: Work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement business development strategies aligned with our mission, values, and long-term goals. Brand Advocacy: Represent HeedWA at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to raise awareness and promote the organization's values. Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the disability support, or NDIS sectors. Strong understanding of the NDIS framework and how it impacts service delivery and client needs. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders. Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong commercial acumen. Experience in proposal writing, tender submissions, and contract negotiations. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. Passion for social impact and a commitment to improving the lives of people with disabilities. Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, health, social work, or related fields (preferred). Why Join Us?
