Description Hedweld has established itself as a world leader in the design and manufacture of mining equipment, advanced manufacturing solutions and agricultural innovations.
Located at our Mount Thorley Facility in NSW.
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Store Person to join our team at Mount Thorley (NSW).
This is a hands-on, permanent position, working Monday to Friday on the day shift.
Reporting to the Store Supervisor, the role is ideal for someone with prior experience in a warehouse environment, who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
The main responsibilities of the role include: Plans and executes day-to-day store activities, ensuring storage, issuing, shipment and supply of inventory items are executed in a timely and professional manner.
Ensures products are suitably packed for shipping or other transport.
Maintenance of Inventory management system for data entry.
Implements quality procedures, ensuring quality assurance is to company standard.
Compares information on requests, invoices, and shipping notices to material received or issued to verify accuracy of orders and specifications.
Interprets orders, work orders, shipping orders, picking slips, or requisitions to determine items to be gathered, or distributed.
Ensure the store area is organised, clean, and safe.
Arranges transports of materials, parts, products or supplies between departments or buildings.
Assist with deliveries and general warehouse duties as required.
Minimum Requirements: Experience in a similar role.
Knowledge of Stores Operations or similar.
Current forklift license (preferred but not essential).
