We are in search of experienced NSW and ACT MR, HR, HC, MC Trainer and Assessors to join our team.
These opportunities are available on a full-time, casual or contract basis.
This position would suit someone who has a passion for road safety and has the experience, skills and knowledge to impart onto students wishing to pursue a career as a heavy vehicle driver.
You will need to be self-motivated and customer focused.
You will have excellent communication skills and be able to work professionally with others to achieve positive outcomes.
Computer literacy is also a requirement of this position.
Our heavy vehicle training team provides students with practical education and training to deliver quality outcomes with work-ready skills and knowledge to students from all sectors of the community.
Trainers require skills in the vehicle, classroom, and training administration space and will train students from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
Duties & Responsibilities Provide comprehensive driver training to prepare students for heavy vehicle licence upgrades. Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and procedures. Adhere to all RTO compliance requirements, policies and procedures. Evaluate students' performance and determine whether they are ready to progress to assessment. Provide feedback and guidance to students to assist them to improve their driving skills. Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records. Minimum Qualifications Required: TAE40122 – Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or TAE40116 with LLN), or the ability to obtain the qualification. TLI41222 – Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driver Training / Heavy Vehicle Instruction (or TLI41318/TLI41321 – Certificate IV in Transport and Logistics (Road Transport – Heavy Vehicle Driving Instruction), or the ability to obtain the qualification. Current heavy vehicle drivers' licence. Working with Vulnerable People Card (ACT). Working with Children Check (NSW). First Aid and CPR Certificate. Five-year driving history. A commercial driver's health assessment. Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Professionalism, reliability, and punctuality.
