We are seeking a highly skilled, qualified Mechanic to join Volvo Commercial Vehicles (VCV) Gold Coast, based in Carrara on QLD's stunning Gold Coast.Our Heavy Vehicle Mechanics have the opportunity to work on Volvo Trucks, Volvo Buses, Mack and UD Trucks, some of Australia's most innovative transport brands. As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing and maintenance on trucks and buses, in line with Volvo Group's standards. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:Steering and suspension repairsElectrical faults, diagnosis and repairsBraking systems diagnosis and repairsPreventative maintenance services and repairsOffsite and breakdown repairsYour future teamThis role will be based at our Volvo Commercial Vehicles Gold Coast dealership in Carrara, which forms part of the larger Volvo Group Australia umbrella. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the team of 23 workshop staff are made up of Mechanics, Auto-Electricians, Apprentices, Service Advisors, and Costing Clerks.
