We provide new & used sales, service, spare parts and finance for a wide array of customers in industries like transport, warehousing, construction, infrastructure, civil works, waste management and government.

 

STM Trucks & Machinery is a authorised dealer for industry leading brands like Fuso Trucks, Iveco Trucks, Kobelco Excavators, ASV Posi-Track Loaders, Merlo Telehandlers, D'Avino Dumpers, C&F Mini Dumpers and many more.

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our growing service team in Smeaton Grange branch. The position is on a full-time basis with competitive remuneration package.

To be successful, you will need to demonstrate the following attributes:

Trade Certificates for Heavy Diesel Automotive (or equivalent)
Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
Ability to work within a team environment
Ability to work unsupervised and follow instructions
Accurately complete job service reports & paperwork
Commitment to safe work practices
Commitment to long term employment and its opportunities
Willing to attend OEM specific technical training
Excellent time management skills
Current NSW driver's licence
Strong work ethics, punctuality and reliability
Ability to maintain a 100% work efficiency
Ability to work on a range of light, medium & heavy vehicle
Ability to work offsite if and when required
Ability to work overtime & Saturdays, as required
Own tools (specialised tooling provided)
Team player with commitment to our values, policies and procedures
