Heavy Vehicle Sales Consultant

STM Trucks & Machinery is a family owned & operated business that has been operating for almost 50 years. We have 3 locations in Southwest Sydney, Wollongong & Canberra.



We provide new & used sales for commercial vehicles and construction equipment, along with service, spare parts and finance for a wide range of clients in transport, warehousing, construction, infrastructure, civil works, waste management and government bodies.



STM Trucks & Machinery (Daimler Trucks South Coast) is now the authorised dealer forMercedes-Benz & Freightliner Trucks,and an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experiencedHeavy Vehicle Sales Consultantto join our growing Unanderra branch. The position is on a full-time basis with a competitive remuneration package.



To be successful, you will need to demonstrate the following attributes:

Previous sales experience and achievements within the heavy vehicle industry
Develop and foster strong customer relationships
Motivated and competitive; driven to achieve
Ability to learn and acquire product knowledge
Excellent time management and organisation skills
Great written and oral communication skills
A keen eye for the finer details
Proficiency in Excel, Outlook and Word
HR/HC Truck Licence is required

Your duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

Develop a sales strategy and apply it to market
Attend and engage is sales and product training sessions
Perform customer vehicle demonstrations
Prospecting of potential new and repeat sales opportunities
Meet and maintain market share and sale volume KPI's
Engage in product marketing, trade expos, customer events etc.
Diligence and organisation in maintaining CRM database
Work in tandem with our business managers to ensure customers finance options and requirements are communicated and met
