Daily Pre-Start ChecksScheduled Maintenance – Minor & Major ServicingBreakdown, Fault Find & Repair – Minor & MajorCommon tasks or components that Tradesmen will be conducting work on include;
Brake Systems & AdjustmentsFuel Systems – Pumps & InjectorsSuspensionEngine Cooling SystemsComponent Change OutsTransmissionHydraulic SystemsPneumatic SystemsLubrication SystemsAlternators & Starter MotorsAxles & Wheel EndsSteering Auto ElectricalWhen Tradesmen are not working on Mobile Plant or Trucks, they maybe assigned to assisting Mechanical Fitters in Fixed Plant Maintenance.

At least 1 year post trade experience working on Trucks or Mobile Plant with experience on major components such as Diesels, Transmissions, Trailers, Suspension, Electrical, Braking Systems, Axels & Wheel Ends to name a fewExperienced in Mobile Plant / Heavy Earth Moving machineryHas exposure to European brands trucks (Ideally Scania & Volvo)Experienced in Hydraulics & Pneumatics – Trucks, Mobile Plant & Fixed PlantIs experienced and competent on Computer Diagnostic EquipmentIs experienced in completing detailed job sheets, JSA, diagnostic reportsHas sourced and ordered parts & consumables, working off hard copy or data-based machinery manuals or inventoriesEssential Criteria include;

Possess a Heavy Vehicle Repairers LicenseTruck License – HR or MR and aboveHigh Risk Fork Lift Ticket Remuneration This is a Temp to Perm role where initially you will be working through Staff-Net on a casual basis. After 3 to 6 months (Potentially earlier) and if you prove to have great technical skills, a positive attitude and work well with the team you will be signed over to Perm on our client books, receiving perm benefits such as leave entitlements and sick pay.
Depending on your experience and qualifications, the pay rates will be between the following;
$75.00 to $85.00 + Super (Flat)Paid Weekly Apply
