About the role We are seeking multiple skilled Mechanics and Leading Hands to join our team at HV & LV in Roxby Downs. You will be working with a diverse fleet of machinery, plant, and vehicles. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide variety of makes and models, diagnosing mechanical issues efficiently, and ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.
The leading hand will possess strong leadership abilities to oversee the day-to-day operations of our mechanical workshop. You will work closely with Supervisors and Management to ensure quality maintenance and repairs of vehicles, while supporting the workshop team in meeting performance objectives.
You will be on an 8 days on and 6 days off roster DIDO (drive in and drive out) and shared accommodation is provided. This role offers exposure to a wide range, with opportunities for training, licensing, and career growth.
You will have success if you have the following: Trade Certificate for Heavy Diesel Mechanical or Trade Qualified in Automotive Mechanical TechnologyMinimum 3 years experience in HV Mechanical workshop with proven experience in heavy machinery maintenance and repairs.Drivers License (HR or above is highly desirable)Commitment to safety and great communication skillsSome highly desirable tickets:ForkliftWhite CardRefrigeration CertificateElectronic Diagnosis SkillsType Fitting Experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
