About the Role: Due to continued growth, we are seeking highly skilled and motivated Heavy Vehicle Mechanics to join our team in Port Hedland, Western Australia. You will play a critical role in maintaining, servicing, and repairing heavy vehicles used in mining and transport operations.
Key Responsibilities: Diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of heavy vehicles and equipment. Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure the optimal performance of vehicles. Perform engine repairs, transmission repairs, brake systems, and electrical troubleshooting. Use diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical issues. Follow safety standards and regulations. Maintain detailed records of repairs and parts used. Work independently or in a team, ensuring timely completion of work orders. Qualifications and Skills: Trade certification in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics (essential). Permanent residency status in Australia. Minimum of 3 years of experience working on heavy vehicles or mining equipment. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Experience with diagnostic software and tools. Valid driver's license (HR license preferred). Ability to work in a hot and physically demanding environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
