Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/ Light Vehicle Mechanic/ Diesel Fitter

Details of the offer

Position Overview

Role: Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Light Vehicle Mechanic willing to upskill
Location: Toowoomba, QLD
Type: Permanent Full-Time

Responsibilities

Complete all service and maintenance tasks
Repair faults promptly
Attend to breakdowns and emergencies
Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, and other components
Understand NHVAS requirements
Complete paperwork timely
Assemble heavy vehicles and mobile equipment
Comply with onsite OHSE standards

Skills and Experience / Qualifications

Qualifications: Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology with willingness to upskill
Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar industry
Skills: Knowledge of basic Electronic Fault Diagnostic Equipment, C class driver's licence (HR or higher is desirable)
NHVAS: Familiarity with National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme requirements
