RGM Maintenance Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team in Townsville, Queensland. As a full-time Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a diverse range of heavy vehicles, ensuring they are operating safely and efficiently.
What you'll be doing Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on a range of heavy vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and other equipment.Carry out scheduled maintenance and servicing, including inspections, oil changes, and component replacements.Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.Collaborate with the wider team to ensure the timely completion of all repair and maintenance tasks.Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance processes and procedures.What we're looking for Completion of a relevant trade qualification, such as a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology.Extensive experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, preferably within the Automotive Trades industry.Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of heavy vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Commitment to safety and a willingness to contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.What we offer At RGM Maintenance Pty Ltd, we are committed to the development and growth of our employees.
