About The Role Truck Centre Port Hedland is currently seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic candidate to join our busy North West team on an 8 & 6 FIFO roster or Monday to Friday roster for residential candidates.
You will be responsible for providing a high quality of workmanship on Mack, Volvo & UD products through scheduled maintenance and repairs, as well as assisting on the 24-hour breakdown roster.
Being in a dealership environment, you will have full access to diagnostic information, product specialists, specialist tooling, as well as ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure your skills continually develop as the product evolves.
The Successful Applicant To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, you must be able to demonstrate experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, as well as: Relevant trade certificate in Heavy Vehicle or Auto Electrician MC Licence (highly desirable) Competent in fault diagnosing using computer systems Excellent time management Positive and proactive approach to your work The ability to work well within a small team environment Self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously Experience in a retail environment and on Mack, UD and/or Volvo Product is highly desirable.
