An opportunity has arisen for a motivated trade qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our WA Oil Team on a casual ongoing basis.
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Heavy Vehicle Mechanic will be conducting preventative and corrective maintenance on a wide range of industrial equipment including high pressure water pumps, vacuum systems, light vehicles through to prime movers and all associated support equipment.
Role Accountabilities include: Conduct maintenance on Contract Resources equipment in accordance with approved policies and procedures.Turn equipment around in a timely manner to support projects and client's requirements.Liaise with third party and OEM suppliers for the efficient rectification of unserviceable assets.Liaise with the facility maintenance management team and logistics functions as required.Source and provide technical assistance for purchasing of non-regular company requirements.Identify defective works, non-conforming work practices to help improve processes.Assist in the continuous improvement of the Preventative Maintenance system for all Contract Resources Equipment.Adhere to all safety, quality & productivity requirements outlined by the Project Manager to deliver quality equipment & service to the end user.To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following: Previous experience in field service mandatory.Experience working around high pressure hydraulic and water systems and on Utes, Prime movers, Vacuum units, Heavy rigid trucks, Diesel driven pumps & HPWJ Equipment.Ability to write and service documents and reports.Ability to work within a team environment while capable of working unsupervised in remote areas.Diagnosis, rebuilding repair and servicing of auxiliary equipment (especially Vac Truck Systems).Flexible to changes in work and job role requirements.Positive client engagement and good work ethics.Possess one of the following Trade Qualifications:Certificate III in Heavy Mobile Plant and Equipment or newer codes.Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology.Certificate III in Automotive (Mechanical - Heavy Vehicle Road Transport).Certificate III in Automotive (Mechanical - Heavy Vehicle Mobile Equipment, Plant/Earth Moving/Agriculture).HR License Mandatory (HC/MC Desirable).Full work rights in Australia.If you are seeking a challenging and rewarding role with a dynamic, growing organisation,
