Location: Mackay or Bowen Basin Roster: Monday - Friday 38hrs + OT or 2/2 off roster (various sites in Bowen Basin) Hours Of Work: 8 -12hr shifts Duration: Temp to Perm Opportunities Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on heavy commercial vehicles, buses, and coach buses. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using trade qualifications and experience. Manage parts inventory and order supplies for maintenance tasks. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs. Collaborate with team members and departments to schedule maintenance and resolve issues. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety. Stay updated on industry trends and technologies for continuous improvement. Respond to breakdowns and emergencies with prompt repairs. Successful Candidate must hold:
MR Drivers Licence (as a minimum) and reliable vehicle. Trade qualified – Cert III Heavy Commercial Mechanical or equivalent. Experience with maintenance & repairs to heavy commercial fleet. Advantageous:
