Flex Industries is a family owned business operating in Kwinana Beach, Kalgoorlie and South West WA.WANT TO BE HOME EVERY NIGHT?After recent growth Flex Industries require a self-motivated & safety conscious Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanics to join our Kwinana Beach team for an immediate start.Flex Industries provides Mechanical/Auto Electrical service and repairs to a wide variety of customers on all types of Heavy Vehicle equipment. Onsite work available upon request which can potentially take you places within regional WA.Valid Australian or NZ Recognised Trade Certificate Post trade experience minimum 3 years, experience with Road Transport/Truck & Trailer Repairs, fault diagnosis and servicingExcellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsSelf-motivation with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Be able to work within a team environment.Valid C class driver's licence (HR and DG desirable)Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test.High awareness of Safety in the workplaceEffective communication skills, reliable & organisedGeneral Duties:Diagnose, overhaul, repair, maintain and test diesel equipment including trucks and trailers, buses, and other small fixed & mobile equipment.Complete tasks within set time framesCommunicate any safety or maintenance issues to the supervisor.Compliance with all safety & current regulations /standardsOther duties as requested by your Supervisor.Solid electrical diagnostic capabilities.Hydraulic knowledgeWelding experienceWorkshop based environment including some field service and onsite work.Full Time Employment (40 to 55 hrs/week, alternate Sat mornings.
