Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

We are looking for 2 qualified and motivated Heavy Vehicle Mechanics to join our team.
With a fleet consisting of Western Star and Kenworth tippers and trailers, we are looking for a hardworking team willing to take a lead role in the maintenance management aspect of the business.
The successful applicant will be responsible for: Repairs, servicing, and testing of company vehicles, trailers, and equipment as per the company maintenance management schedule. Diagnostic and preventative maintenance. Attending breakdowns. Completing workshop job sheets to assist in tracking and record keeping. Liaising with company drivers to ensure vehicles are working safely and efficiently. To be successful, you will possess the following skills and experience: Car license as a minimum; however, a heavy vehicle license would be highly regarded. Experience in diagnosing and repairing general mechanical faults. Cummins, Detroit, and CAT engine experience will be highly regarded. Demonstrate a willingness to undertake general repairs and regular maintenance within the depot and wash bays. Understanding of NHVAS requirements, workshop compliance, and Australian Truck Safety Standards. Reliable with a good work ethic. Motivated and team-oriented.
