Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

Ison Haulage are a proud family owned and operated business in the Western Downs Region, based in Chinchilla. We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team.
Overview: In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of heavy equipment used in the haulage & quarry operations. This role will be Monday - Friday with weekends as required based in Chinchilla with a service truck provided during working hours.
Role Responsibilities: Maintain and repair heavy haulage trucks, loaders, excavators, and quarry equipment Perform routine maintenance and inspections Ensure compliance with all safety standards and company policies Troubleshoot hydraulic & mechanical issues across a range of equipment Work efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime and maximise reliability Maintain accurate records of services and repairs carried out Requirements: Mechanical Trade Certificate Valid LR Licence Proven experience as a mechanic, ideally with heavy vehicles and quarry equipment Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Be able to work within a team and unsupervised Must have full working rights in Australia If you are passionate, enjoy hands-on work, and take pride in quality maintenance, please APPLY NOW!
