Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Heavy Vehicle Driver to join our team at Programmed. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods between different locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperate heavy vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.Monitor and maintain vehicle equipment, supplies, and condition to ensure optimal performance.Supervise loading and unloading operations at pick-up and delivery sites.Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to report mechanical issues, traffic conditions, and other relevant information.Verify delivery contents and maintain accurate records, including cargo logs and vehicle logs.RequirementsCurrent Heavy Vehicle license.Able to work day and night shifts, including 12-hour rotations.Commitment to safety and zero-harm policies.Good team player with excellent communication skills.About UsAs one of Australia's largest employers, Programmed works with leading companies across Australia and New Zealand to provide opportunities for our employees to work when and where they want.
