Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic - Moomba / Jackson The Role
Toll People are currently seeking skilled and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our team in Moomba/ Jackson. These are full-time positions with NEW RATES, fantastic benefits, and the opportunity to work on one of the most extensive logistics fleets in the country.
This role is offering 2/2 roster flying out of Adelaide and Brisbane.

Ensuring the maintenance of correct and proper records relating to the management of the Workshop department, including vehicle maintenance, stock control and job cards for invoicing Carrying out a high standard of repairs and maintenance to Toll's equipment Maintaining appropriate standards of housekeeping and safety within the work areas Maintaining quality and urgency in the work performed Ensuring that work is planned and is progressed through the workshop so that the minimum of delay results and that high quality customer satisfaction is maintained Conduct vehicle / job sign off on completion of a job (inspection / quality) Following work instructions, procedures, and codes of practice for the safety of all employees and minimise risks in the workplace Actively participating in the Toll occupational health and safety program Conducting regular toolbox meetings and facilitate health, safety, and environmental initiatives To be successful in this role you will have:
Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic or similar Unrestricted Australian Working Rights Demonstrated experience working on heavy diesel machinery Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Excellent problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment Commitment to workplace safety About Toll People
