Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic

$45 – $55 per hour + overtime + allowances
We're a family-owned national transport and logistics company with an extensive fleet of approximately 400 trailers and 200 trucks. We're seeking a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our great team within our Laverton North site.
You'll enjoy highly competitive pay rates and be part of a growing team, who are looking forward to expanding the workshop footprint and offering over the next 12 months at our Head Office workshop.
The Role: Regular servicing and maintenance on UD, DAF, Kenworth & Volvo and undertake all aspects of trailer refurbs and servicing.Regular servicing and maintenance – A, B and C services.Trailer servicing, trailer annuals and repairs.Ability to diagnose and rectify issues and defects.Conducting general repairs and modifications as required.7am - 3pm / Mon-Fri with occasional overtime.About You: Diesel Mechanic qualification.Sound diesel servicing and diagnostics knowledge.A proactive approach to regulate maintenance, servicing & repair.Highly safety conscious.Strong work ethic.What We Offer: A permanent full-time position.We provide all specialist tools.Weekly pay cycle.Paid on call roster for local breakdowns.Paid overtime.Company uniform.Paid upskilling, additional training and licence upgrades.Company referral program.Paid annual flu shots.Service awards.To apply please submit your resume via Seek or visit the Cahill careers page at careers/
